You have the option of writing a personal gift message (up to 155 characters) with any order. We offer this service free of charge. Simply click the “Would you like to add a gift message” checkbox at the bottom of the Billing Page during checkout.
Our gift cards are available in amounts ranging from $25-$500 and are redeemable by phone, online or in stores. They arrive tucked in a special envelope with your personalized message. Choose from four distinctive designs—with or without nature-inspired quotes. There is no sales tax or shipping charge on the purchase of a gift card.

To simplify shipping and handling charges, we organize costs by the dollar amount of your order. Note that these charges apply per individual address. Please remember that heavhy, live or oversized products may require an extra shipping charge due to their weight or size. This will be shown after the price of the item as an additional shipping charge.

When requesting Rush Delivery for some oversized items, the tax and shipping costs may be listed as “TBD” at checkout. For these items, a customer service representative will contact you within two business days with a full price quote.
Alaska/Hawaii: Standard delivery available on select items for an additional $10 shipping surcharge; excludes furniture, oversized items, live goods, edible products, and hazardous materials.

If at any time, for any reason, you are less than pleased with the quality of a product you purchase from us, we will cheerfully accept it for an exchange or refund. Personalized items are not eligible for refund or exchange. Please note: A 30% fee will be charged on order cancellations or returns of cushions and umbrellas, as well as Sunbrella® Fabrics by the Yard.
Returning an Item
To return an item by mail, please repackage it, enclose the packing slip, insure the package, and send it back to us. Our return address is Smith & Hawken, 1226 Aviation Boulevard, Hebron, KY 41048. We will refund or credit the value of the item, including taxes. Shipping charges are not refundable. You may also return items purchased online to any Smith & Hawken store.
